Jackal Navan is a vibrant pub in Market Square that needed compelling on-site content to capture its retro-cool vibe and draw crowds from day one.
The Challenge
Opening a new venue in Navan meant competing with established spots while establishing Jackal as the go-to for wood-fired pizzas, craft cocktails, and live music.
The goal
create authentic, scroll-stopping content highlighting the cozy interiors, beer garden glow, and energetic atmosphere to build buzz on Instagram and TikTok.
The Solution
Captured real-time moments during peak hours—pizza ovens firing, candlelit tables with groups sharing mortadella pizzas, signature Whiskey Sours being shaken with flair.
Used a mix of candid photography and short video clips to showcase the venue's bold colours, retro wall art, and welcoming energy that makes first-timers feel like regulars.
What I Delivered
- High-Engagement Photos: Interior shots emphasizing cozy seating, vibrant murals, and outdoor beer garden details.
- Dynamic Reels/Stories: Quick clips of cocktail theatrics, live quiz nights, and pizza prep to boost shares and saves.
- Optimized Assets: Edited in GIMP for platform-specific formats (Instagram squares, TikTok verticals) with consistent warm filters tying back to Jackal's animal-inspired branding.
Objectives:
- Strengthen brand recognition within the Animal Collective family
- Capture the venue's unique atmosphere through compelling visual storytelling
- Create shareable content that resonates with the target audience
- Highlight the distinctive features of the Navan location
- Drive foot traffic through engaging social media presence
- Balance brand consistency with local character

To achieve these objectives, I developed a comprehensive visual strategy centered on professional photography that showcases both the venue's distinctive features and its connection to the larger brand family. The approach focused on capturing authentic moments, architectural details, product presentations, and the vibrant atmosphere that makes Jackal a destination venue in Navan.

The Impact
Content posted June 4, 2024, generated 358+ interactions, helping position Jackal as Navan's alternative hotspot within the Animal Collective family (sister to Dublin's Bonobo and Kodiak). Clients now see proven results in turning venue vibes into digital magnets that drive foot traffic.
📸 Photography:
Content designed to be shared on social networks, highlighting the details, however, without losing the tone and style of the network. Showing in detail the interior spaces, products, details, so that people notice that it is the same restaurant chain, but with the unique touch of each place, in this case, Jackal, in Navan.

The result is a cohesive visual narrative that successfully communicates Jackal's unique identity while maintaining strong ties to the Animal Collective brand. Through careful attention to detail and strategic content creation, the photography not only showcases the venue's offerings but also creates an inviting digital presence that transforms online engagement into real-world visits, establishing Jackal as a premier social destination in County Meath.
Conclusion:
Content marketing has quickly grown to become one of the most popular online marketing strategies in the world, but why has it achieved this level of popularity?
It’s mostly due to the numerous benefits of content marketing:
1. Cost efficiency. Content marketing is incredibly inexpensive since you have the potential to create all your content assets in-house.
2. Article permanence. Once you create a piece of content, it’s yours to keep forever. It will continue returning value to your site so long as you keep it live.
3. Multi-channel support. Content can support almost any other marketing or advertising campaign, giving you fuel to use across other channels or material to adapt to other mediums.
4. Brand trust. Consumers have more trust in brands that give them something valuable upfront, like content. This is your chance to prove your expertise and build a relationship with your prospects.
5. Onsite conversion potential. Each post you write allows you to convert a reader into a full-fledged customer. Done tactfully, it can increase your conversion rate many times over.
