Liffey Founders Club

On September 9th, 2025, I documented the Liffey Founders Club at Baseline, Dublin — an evening where entrepreneurs, innovators, and creatives came together to share ideas and connect. My role was to translate the atmosphere into a cohesive visual narrative.

Capturing the Spirit of Innovation in Dublin

The Liffey Founders Club is Dublin’s new hub for innovators, dreamers, and entrepreneurs — a community that celebrates creativity and ambition in the heart of the city. Hosted at Baseline (61 Thomas St.) and led by Quinn Bonta and Karl Timmins, the event brought together early-stage founders, seasoned entrepreneurs, and curious creatives for an evening of pitches, networking, and new partnerships.

This energy made it the perfect opportunity to showcase how visual storytelling can elevate community-driven events.

Objectives

  • Document the event with high-quality photography and video

  • Capture authentic networking moments and the atmosphere of collaboration

  • Create short-form video content for social media highlights

  • Develop a longer YouTube feature to tell the story of the night

  • Provide the Liffey Founders Club with a versatile set of visuals to use for future promotions

Approach

To bring the event to life visually, I combined:

📸 Photography → candid portraits, venue details, group energy, and key moments on stage.
🎥 Video Production → short-form vertical videos (snappy, social-ready) plus a longer video edit for YouTube.
✍️ Storytelling → written content to complement the visuals, adding context and narrative for digital platforms.

The focus was on capturing the authentic energy of people connecting, rather than staged poses.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive set of visual assets that highlight the vibrancy of Dublin’s startup community. Through photos, short videos, and a feature-length edit, the Liffey Founders Club now has a digital showcase that reflects its role as a key meeting point for innovators.

This project also demonstrates how event coverage can go beyond documentation — it can be transformed into content that builds community, strengthens brand identity, and amplifies reach.
